St. Simon Stock Parish will be hosting an upcoming Red Cross blood drive during January to start off the New Year, thanks to the Knights of Columbus 7429 sponsoring the event.
The blood drive will be at St. Simon Stock Parish at 178 W. White Horse Pike in Berlin Friday, Jan. 11 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The donor schedule for this event is currently lower than anticipated, and the need for blood continues to grow everyday. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds, according to the Red Cross, so donations from the community are always important.
