Veterans’ one-stop day at BCC

Area veterans and military members are invited to the Veterans’ One-Stop Day at Burlington County College, hosted by Burlington County Freeholder Director Joe Donnelly, to learn about what is offered by the preeminent veteran service agencies in Burlington County.

Freeholder Director Donnelly will also discuss his new vision that will streamline efforts among BCC’s military education and veterans services, the Burlington County Department of Military and Veterans Services and the Burlington County Workforce Investment Board.

“We have many services available to veterans in Burlington County and this new collaboration will allow us to better assist the brave men and women who have served us,” Freeholder Director Joe Donnelly said. “Veterans and current military members will find all the information they need from knowledgeable professionals — under one roof — at the Veterans’ One-Stop Day at BCC.”

Veterans and military members are invited to the event at 3 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 21 at BCC’s Culinary Arts Center, 21 Mill St., Mount Holly. Veterans and Military members who need additional information may contact BCC’s Military and Veterans Services at [email protected] or (609) 894–9311, ext. 1299.

The event will offer information from representatives of the Military Education and Veterans Services, the Burlington County Department of Military and Veterans Services and the Burlington County Workforce Investment Board, including one-on-one sessions. Complimentary snacks and refreshments will be available.

Media who need additional information about covering this event may contact Burlington County Senior Public Information Officer Charlene Webster at [email protected] or (609) 265–5028; or BCC Director of Communications Greg Volpe at [email protected] or (609) 894–9311, ext. 1610.
