Obituary: Edward T. Hunter

Edward T. Hunter, of Medford Lakes passed away AugustĀ 25.

He was the beloved husband of Gwen J. Hunter (nee Reinas) and the loving father of Edward P. Hunter and his wife Farrah, Rachel J. Gotshall and her husband Jeff, Amy Lyczak, Jessica S. Hunter and Michael T. Hunter. He is also survived by his grandchildren Colin Dougherty, Allison Polinski, Emma Hunter, Chelsea Gotshall, Derek Gotshall, David Gotshall, John Gotshall, Caeleigh Lyczak, Kayla Hunter and Nathaniel Hunter and his siblings Lea Anne Hunter, Suzanne Smallwood, Stephen Hunter, Mary Gotshall and JaneĀ Stewart.

He was 68 years of age. Born in Newark, he resided in Medford Lakes since 1979, moving there from Collingswood. He is the son of the late Edward F. and Thelma Hunter. Edward was a retired Teacher with the Lenape Regional High School District and taught at Cherokee High School in Marlton from 1975 to 1995. He is a graduate of Rutgers University in Camden where he received his Bachelorā€™s Degree and Masterā€™s Degree inĀ Biology.

Relatives and friends attended the Funeral Services with a Mass of Christian Burial that was held on Monday, August 31st, 2015 at the St. Joan of Arc Church, Marlton, NJ. Services were under the direction of the Bradley & Stow FuneralĀ Home.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Hunter Family Fund, P.O. Box 1546, Medford, NJĀ 08055.
