The NJ Committee of the Philadelphia Orchestra elects new Chair and Board Members

The Committee raises funds for the Philadelphia Orchestra.

The New Jersey Committee of the Philadelphia Orchestra recently elected a new Chair and board members, and hosted its annual holiday luncheon. The Committee, which raises funds for the Philadelphia Orchestra hosted its annual holiday luncheon at the Tavistock Country Club, with members of the Haddonfield High Madrigals performing. The luncheon, which had 176 attendees, also offered boutique shopping vendors, raffle and door prizes.

The committee meets monthly offering speakers, musicians and luncheons throughout the year in the Moorestown, Haddonfield, Medford and Marlton areas. Members of the Committee also support the Orchestra’s Opening Night Gala, Perfect Harmony, On That Note and the Academy Ball. The Committee will host its annual Spring Musicale, featuring a performance by musicians of the Philadelphia Orchestra on Sunday, April 30.

The event will be held at a private home in Moorestown from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

New chair and board members include: Richelle Rabenou — Chair, Lois Boyce — Vice Chair, Programs, Virginia Dowd — Vice Chair, Projects, Joan Rozanski -Treasurer, Marian Wissman — Recording Secretary, Stella McSparran — Corresponding Secretary. Standing And Special Committees, Peggy Morris — Membership, Evelyn Lukasik — Annual Giving, Ramona Vosbikian — Education, Rosemary Livingston — Hospitality, Carol Kucker — Special Events, Connie Madara — Historian.
