Officer Steve Palma will enter training to bring a new K9 partner along on patrol.
After approximately 15 weeks of training, police will be seen in the community and on patrol helping fellow officers along with my new K9 partner.
The police are asking for donations toward the program. Expenses will go toward food, toys, veterinarian expenses, costs to maintain a Police K9 at an officer’s personal residence, and purchasing the dog.
The police are trying to raise $20,000. Residents and supports can donate here.
