Athletic department secretary Valerie Dolores should receive a raise for the work she did today, as several varsity teams had their games cancelled or dates changed for this week.
Dolores reported that the varsity golf team’s match against Timber Creek High School for tomorrow has been cancelled and has yet to be rescheduled.
Additionally, the start time for the boys varsity lacrosse game vs Hillsborough High School on Saturday, May 7 has been rescheduled for a 4 p.m. start time. The starting times of the freshman and junior varsity games will remain at 10 a.m.
Also, the date of the varsity and junior varsity baseball games versus Cherokee High School for Saturday, May 7 have been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 24. The games will be played at 3:45 p.m. The freshman game scheduled for May 7 will be moved to Tuesday, May 24 at Eastern Regional High school.
The date of the freshman baseball game versus Holy Cross on Tuesday, May 24 has been changed to Thursday, May 19.
The golf team will play Shawnee High School at The Links, not Cherry Hill High School East as previously reported, Dolores said. Finally, the golf match against Cherry Hill High School East has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 19 at 3:45 p.m. at Indian Springs.
