Police later located the man in a nearby shed.
The following information is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:
On Jan. 27 at 12:16 p.m., officers with the Evesham Township Police Department responded to a home in the unit block of Tenby Lane after a homeowner called 911 reporting that he found an unknown male inside of his garage.
Upon police arrival, the homeowner advised officers that the male was found sitting inside of his wife’s car.
When confronted by the homeowner, the male allegedly fled into a nearby wooded area.
Searching officers located the male allegedly hiding inside a shed a few blocks away.
The male allegedly resisted arrest and was detained without injuries to himself or officers.
Arrested:
A male, age 28, of Marlton, was charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, fourth-degree theft, fourth-degree attempted theft of a motor vehicle and a disorderly person’s offense for resisting arrest and criminal mischief.
Police say he was also found to be wanted by the Camden County Sheriff’s Department for Parole Violations.
He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail.
