Safe trick-or-treating event coming to Cherokee High School on Oct. 28

Other schools in the Lenape Regional High School District will also hold similar events in the coming days.

The four high schools that make up the Lenape Regional High School District will be hosting safe trick-or-treating events in the coming days.

According to the district, these events will give area children safe venues to celebrate Halloween.

The event at Cherokee High School, located at 120 Tomlinson Mill Road in Marlton, has been set for Sunday, Oct. 28, from 2 to 4 p.m.

All four high schools will have their hallways decorated and are prepared to welcome children on different days.

In addition to trick-or-treating for candy, participating children will enjoy games, crafts and more holiday-themed activities planned by each school’s various clubs and volunteers.

All children are welcome to any of this year’s events. Events at other schools in the district are as follows:

  • The event at Shawnee High School, located at 600 Tabernacle Road in Medford, has been set for Oct. 27, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
  • The event at Lenape High School, located at 235 Hartford Road in Medford, has been set for Oct. 28, from noon to 2 p.m.
  • The event at Seneca High School, located at 110 Carranza Road in Tabernacle, has been set for Oct. 31 from 3 to 5 p.m. Children participating in Seneca’s event are asked to bring one non-perishable food item, which the school will donate to a local family.
