New Jersey Society of Municipal Engineers recognizes Evesham Township engineer for Inglis Gardens sidewalk project
Evesham Township engineer Tim Staszewski is being recognized with a first place award for “Project of the Year” by the New Jersey Society of Municipal Engineers. Staszewski headed the project of creating a sidewalk along Elmwood Road to aid in the safe mobility of the residents at Inglis Gardens independent housing complex to help them travel nearby locations such as stores at The Village at the Greens shopping center or St. Isaac Jogues Church.
Evesham Police hosting free women’s self defense seminar on Nov. 28
The Evesham Township Police Department is hosting a free women’s self defense seminar on Nov. 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Gibson House Community Center located at 535 E. Main St. in Marlton. According to police, this event is designed to increase self confidence through awareness and prevention.
Lenape and Seneca high school marching bands to perform in Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade
Lenape and Seneca high schools will band together to create a large ensemble and take over the streets of Philadelphia for the 6ABC Dunkin’ Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade. This performance will be the first by any band from the district in the historic parade through the streets of Philadelphia.
Burlington County’s annual free flu clinics continue for residents for 2018–2019 season

‘Barry the Baron’ debuts as new costumed mascot for Rowan College at Burlington County
Rowan College at Burlington County welcomed Barry the Baron this week. Barry is the costumed personification of the school’s longtime mascot — The Baron. He debuted this week clad in a full set of shining, silver armor, with a bright red cape in tow, to bring some character to the school’s longtime mascot.
