R. Maurice Shaw Jr.

On May 25, age 89, of the Masonic Home in Burlington, formerly of Cherry Hill and Ocean City and the beloved husband of the late Anne (nee Glomb).
He is survived by his brother, Larnie B. Shaw, of Medford, three nieces, Carolyn Shaw, of Medford, Shirley Landgraf (John), of Collingswood, and Janice Countess, of Medford, 10 grand nieces and nephews and nine great grand nieces and nephews.
Mr. Shaw was a graduate of Camden High School.
He went to the College of NJ and then into the Army and ultimately on to graduate from Bucknell University.
Mr. Shaw had a career in insurance.
He had been the Supervising Underwriter for Fireman’s Fund in Phila.
Mr. Shaw was a Mason for over 57 years. He was a long time member of the Haddonfield/ Cherry Hill Lodge No. 15 where he had served as a Master Mason and the Worshipful Master. Additionally, he was a member of Shriner’s International and a 60-year member of the American Legion.
Mr. Shaw enjoyed summers in Ocean City, bowling and making others laugh.
Interment, Arlington Cemetery, Pennsauken.
