Looking for a fun way to kick off the July 4 festivities? Start your day with the Silver Diner’s Breakfast Car Show taking place Sunday, July 4, from 8 a.m. until noon.
Open to anyone, registration is from 8 to 10 a.m., with a $20 entry fee day of show. No pre-registration is required and the first 200 people who register will receive free commemorative T-shirts. Trophies will be awarded at noon — before it gets too hot and in plenty of time for people to enjoy their July 4 barbeques.
The traditional judged show will award trophies in each of the 17 categories. The show is not limited to just classic cars. Any car, old or new, can be registered. Points are deducted in stock classes for any modifications, aftermarket equipment or dress up items. Modified classes are judged on quality of workmanship and safety, not number of modifications.
The Breakfast Car Show is sponsored by the Delaware Valley Old Goat Club and the Cherry Hill Silver Diner. The show will be judged by members of the Delaware Valley Old Goat Club.
For more information about the car show, contact Mike Laskowski at (610) 357–4913. The rain date is Monday, July 5. Day of show rain information is 910–1240.
