The event will be held rain or shine on Friday, July 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. at American Collectors Insurance, located at 496 Kings Highway North in Cherry Hill.

The United States Senate declared July 9, 2010 as National Collector Car Appreciation Day as a means to raise awareness of the vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society. As a result, hundreds of collector car events are taking place all over the country.

American Collectors Insurance and Hemmings are known and trusted brands in the restoration and collector car industries and have worked together for more than three decades. They are coming together to celebrate National Collector Car Appreciation Day, a historic date that reaffirms the important role that automobiles play in the American heritage.

Collector car enthusiasts with killer rides will be attending, and will include: ’29 Ford Model A, ’38 Buick Century, ’47 Auburn Packard and a ’66 Pontiac GTO.
