The presentation will focus on the New Jersey Women’s Heritage Trail, a project co-sponsored by the New Jersey Historic Preservation Office and the Alice Paul Institute, which contracted with Preservation Partners to perform the research to identify historic sites related to the lives of New Jersey women.

The New Jersey Women’s Heritage Trail, which includes 94 historic sites, was published in 2004. From this project, a curriculum guide was developed to assist educators in incorporating historic sites associated with women into their daily lessons.

Buickerood joined the Alice Paul Institute staff in 2007. Before being named executive director, she served as administrative director and director of major gifts.
