Throughout the month of October, Lee Newman will donate 10 percent of all sales to The Cooper Foundation and its Pink Roses Teal Magnolias Fund in an effort to support women struggling with cancer and provide funding for innovative research to improve treatments and ultimately discover a cure.

In addition to research, this contribution will help fund other Cooper Cancer Institute initiatives and make a real difference in the lives of patients.

To kick off the month-long effort, The Shops at Lee Newman Plaza will host a cocktail gathering on Friday, Oct. 5 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Guests will be welcomed with catering by Café Aldo Lamberti and desserts from Classic Cake.

That evening, shoppers will also receive 10 percent off featured designer collections. “We are very excited about this partnership with The Cooper Foundation,” says Stu Shiroff, proprietor of The Shops at Lee Newman Plaza. “My wife is a nurse practitioner and I hear stories of courage by so many within our community who struggle with cancer. We look to support and improve the lives of our neighbors.”

Founded in 1955, Lee Newman has been dressing the South Jersey community in high-end specialty clothing, shoes and accessories for nearly 60 years. The family-owned business, which first became known for its exclusive men’s suiting, tailoring and service, has expanded its collections over the years and is now one of the area’s leading specialty stores featuring styles for both men and women at varying price points for every lifestyle.

Located at 2076 Route 70 East in Cherry Hill, The Shops at Lee Newman Plaza is home to Lee Newman Men’s Clothing, Tehen Fine Women’s Clothing & Shoes, Lee Newman Featuring Tommy Bahama and TUMI luggage. They offer free alterations, in-home private fittings and online retail shopping.
