Holiday coat drive runs through end of the month

Source4Teachers, a national educational staffing solutions firm with a base in Cherry Hill, and its sister company, MissionOne, recently donated more than 250 coats to Respond, Inc., a non-profit organization with the goal of promoting the general welfare of individuals and families residing in Camden City and county, through a holiday coat drive for One Warm Coat.

The coats were collected through employee and outside donations.

Founded in San Francisco in 1992, One Warm Coat is a national non-profit organization whose goal is to collect coats to give to those in need, free of charge. In the 20 years since its inception, more than three million coats have been collected and distributed to individuals and families who need them most.

The Source4Teachers and MissionOne holiday coat drive began Nov. 1 and will continue through Dec. 31.

Those wishing to participate can drop off coats for children and teenagers at the Cherry Hill office, 800 Kings Highway North, in the hallway on the fourth floor, on weekdays between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Participants may also visit www.OneWarmCoat.org to find alternative collection locations closer to their homes or places of employment.
