True Crime Mini-Con coming to Cherry Hill Public Library on Oct. 20

A number of speakers will be featured at this event from noon to 4 p.m.

The Cherry Hill Public Library is hosting True Crime Mini-Con on Saturday, Oct. 20 from noon to 4 p.m. in the lower level conference center. Residents are invited to enjoy an afternoon with real-life crime investigators and get an insider’s view of FBI profiling and corruption cases in Philadelphia.

There will be a few featured speakers at the event. James Fitzgerald is a retired FBI Agent, criminal profiler, forensic linguist, and author who is best known for his role in the UNABOM investigation, which resulted in the arrest and conviction of Ted Kaczynski. Wendy Ruderman and Barbara Laker will also speak. They are “Philadelphia Inquirer” investigative reporters who won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for investigative journalism for their series “Tainted Justice” about a rogue narcotics squad in the Philadelphia Police Department.
