The Cherry Hill community is in shock this afternoon after learning about the death of a sixth-grade student from Carusi Middle School Wednesday night.
Cherry Hill School officials confirmed the student’s death on Thursday afternoon. District officials and Cherry Hill Police would not release the student’s name or details on how he died.
Members of the Cherry Hill community took to Twitter to express their condolences. Grief counselors were at the school on Thursday to support the students and staff.
Parents are encouraged to call the school’s guidance office at (856) 667–1220 for additional information about outside grief agencies. Additional resources are also provided at www.cherryhill.k12.nj.us/departments/sac.
