Every time the teachers’ contract is over, we get to hear the same garbage. You want an increase for the same services that you got paid in each and every prior contract.

But that is your job. Get a real job. Fight the morning traffic, the 5 o’clock traffic. Let’s see how much time you have in preparing meals and spending time with the children, especially in the summer.
How many of you attended the teachers’ convention? How many of you tutor students after school and get paid by the parents and don’t report this on your tax return? Do your job you’re supposed to do. You are being overpaid now. Be glad you have a job.
