Those who have wondered about the big money culture of college football can get an inside look from two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Gil Gaul. Gaul will be at the Cherry Hill Public Library on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. to discuss his new book, “Billion Dollar Ball.”
In his new book, Gaul offers a riveting and sometimes shocking look inside the money culture of college football.
Frank Fitzpatrick, sportswriter at the Philadelphia Inquirer, will lead the conversation which will feature some of college football’s biggest names like Texas and Alabama. Gil will also discuss some lesser-known schools who are struggling to keep up with those who are devoting millions to stadiums, practice facilities, coaches’ salaries and recruiting.
Books will be sold and signed at the event. The discussion is free and open to the public. For more information or to register, visit http://chplnj.evanced.info/signup/EventDetails.aspx?EventId=6824&lib=.
