Community members of South Jersey are invited to participate in a public forum, discussion and direct action on “Why Black Lives Matter in South Jersey” on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Cherry Hill 401 North Kings Highway.
This event will foster an understanding of why black lives matter in Southern New Jersey. The discussion will address disparities in the criminal justice system, law enforcement practices, housing, and employment policies and strategies to affect these issues. There will be an opportunity for attendees to contact legislators and local officials during the event.
