Mantua is going pink.
The township will partner with the American Cancer Society and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer for the kickoff of Pink Week at Chestnut Branch Park on Saturday, Oct. 5.
Pink Week in Gloucester County continues through Saturday, Oct. 12. Participating businesses in the county will donate a portion of sales to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event. The kickoff runs from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The township will present a proclamation, followed by several keynote speakers, a ribbon cutting and a walk/run around the park to support the cause.
