“Great tennis facilities like the Cherry Hill Health and Racquet Club help us to grow the game at the grass-roots level, and we are proud to recognize them for their ongoing impact on the sport of tennis,” said Kurt Kamperman, chief executive, community tennis, USTA. “Cherry Hill Health and Racquet Club has embraced many of our tennis initiatives and kept the sport at the forefront of its community each year.”

For this award, facilities were judged on overall layout and adaptation to site, excellence of court surface and lights, ease of maintenance, accommodation for players, spectators, press and officials, aesthetics, graphics, amenities and the facilities’ participating in USTA programs.

Cherry Hill Health and Racquet Club and the 11 other winners will receive a wall plaque and all-weather sign. They will also be honored at a luncheon in New York City on Sept. 1.
