Intro to Word: Adult seniors. 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Join this class to explore Microsoft Word 2016. Participants will build their word processing and text editing skills and learn the many facets that make Word an essential tool to work with. Free alternatives to Word will also be covered. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

First Chapter Club for Kids: Ages 8 to 12 years. 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. The First Chapter Club for Kids is a way to learn about a variety of books and books series.  Participants will do a quick writing activity and play games related to the book. This month the class will be reading “The Lemonade War.” Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Zendoodle Time: Ages 8 to 12 years. 4 to 4:40 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Art is a healthy way to relax and refocus. Using the Zentangle doodling method, kids can both relax and create a stunning piece of art with minimal stress. Participants are encouraged to bring music to listen to. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Monday, April 29

Funny Farm: Adult Seniors. 2 to 3 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Join a discussion on “Funny Farm: My Unexpected Life with 600 Rescue Animals” by Laurie Zaleski. No registration required, new members are welcome to attend.

Gentle Chair Yoga: Adult Seniors. 4 to 5 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Senior residents are invited to join this gentle chair yoga class led by a certified yoga instructor. Chair yoga is a wonderful way to move the body and increase flexibility while using a chair for support. This class is ideal for those who feel stiff, have limited mobility or have minor injuries. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Cozy Crochet Club: Ages 12 to 17 years. 5 to 6 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to bring a current project and get cozy with fellow crocheters, or start a new project from the library’s pattern selection – guests are free to use the library’s yarn stash. Beginners are welcome and can learn from a library staff member. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
