First public forums on Cherry Hill Schools’ bond referendum taking place this week

Forums are scheduled for Thursday at Cherry Hill East and Saturday at Carusi Middle School.

The Cherry Hill Board of Education will host the first two of five open public forums this week for community members to give their input on the next bond referendum.

All community members, are encouraged to attend one of the meetings. This week’s meetings are scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 7, at the Cherry Hill High School East cafeteria at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Carusi Middle School Media Center at 11 a.m. Each 75-minute session will be conducted by a professional moderator. Attendees are asked to be prepared for group discussions and to share ideas.

Meetings will also be held later in February and in March on the following dates:

· Thursday, Feb. 21 at the Johnson Elementary School Media Center, 500 Kresson Road, 1 p.m.

· Monday, Feb. 25 at the Cherry Hill High School West Media Center, 2101 Chapel Ave., 7 p.m.

· Sunday, March 10 at the Rosa Middle School Cafeteria, 485 Browning Lane, 1 p.m.
