Sara Lipsett was chosen as council vice president during Cherry Hill Township Council’s reorganization meeting on Monday night.
There will be no changes to the seats of Cherry Hill Township Council president and vice president in 2017, as council chose David Fleisher to serve as president and Sara Lipsett to serve as vice president.
Council selected Fleisher and Lipsett during its reorganization meeting on Monday night. Fleisher and Lipsett have both served as president and vice president of Cherry Hill Township Council, respectively, since 2010.
There are no new members of council in 2017. Carolyn Jacobs won a special election for a one year, unexpired term on council last November. She served her first year on council in 2016.
Council also selected a number of department heads to lead the township in 2017. A number of the selections were in attendance at the meeting.
