On Saturday, March 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., visitors to the Raymour & Flanigan Cherry Hill showroom can learn about Camp No Worries, participate in raffles and help raise money to send kids to Camp Inawendiwin in Burlington County. Attendees will also receive a $100 coupon valid on a purchase of $1,000 or more.

For one week every summer, Camp No Worries hosts approximately 100 campers, ages 6 through 16, who are dealing with a diagnosis of cancer in some way — whether they are patients, survivor’s siblings or bereaved siblings.

“Camp No Worries allows kids facing a cancer diagnosis to relax and just be kids,” says Bill Emerson, chair for the board of governors of the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties. “Through the generous support of individuals, community organizations and local businesses, like Raymour & Flanigan, we are able to ensure that no family has to bear the financial burden of camp.”

For a week at Camp No Worries, the cost is approximately $1,000 per camper, but the volunteer staff works to raise the necessary funds so that all children may attend at no charge.

“Once you are a part of the Camp No Worries family, you begin a countdown for the other 51 weeks of the year. Coming to camp for one week has changed my life forever,” said Samii Emdur, a nurse who volunteers at the camp.
