Spreading joy to families in need

As the holiday season approaches, the spirit of giving and generosity is in full swing in Voorhees. The township police department has unveiled its annual holiday fund, aimed at providing help to needy families during the festive season.

Recognizing the importance of community support, the police have launched a call to action by having residents nominate families in need. The fund is designed to collect donations and deliver them to those families in time for Christmas.

Individuals can participate in the initiative by submitting letters to Stephanie Fowler at [email protected]. They should describe the families being nominated and provide essential details such as ages and the number of household members. Police will carefully review each submission and select families based on their unique circumstances and specific needs.

The fundraiser’s success relies on the collaboration of community members who can also collectively contribute to spreading kindness through financial donations and volunteering.
