Voters in Washington Township went to the polls on Nov. 7 and elected members of the board of education.
The Gloucester County Clerk’s Office has posted results from the election on its website. All of the election results are unofficial and will remain unofficial until a vote counting process that could take more than a week has been completed.
The totals as of Nov. 8 do not include late mail-in ballots and provisional ballots.
Washington Township Board of Education
Seven candidates, including two incumbents, ran for the three, three-year-term open seats on the board of education in the Nov. 7 election. There was also an unexpired one-year term open on the board.
As of Nov. 8, Newcomer Patricia Blome, and incumbents Scott Laliberte and Ralph E. Ross, Sr. are in the lead with 5,788 votes, 5,611 votes and 4,217 votes, respectively, for the open seats.
Bonnie Marano follows with 4,124 votes, Thomas P. Baldosaro with 3,962 votes, Jim Mckeever with 3,911 votes, and Daniel Woodington received 3,184 votes.
There are 459 write-in votes.
Steven Serrano ran unopposed in the uncontested unexpired one-year term on the board. He received 7,305 votes as of Nov. 8. There are 948 write-in votes.
