Berlin Borough Police Department participating in ‘No Shave November’ campaign

Officers will volunteer to grow their facial hair and make donations to cancer research. Members of the public can donate as well.

During the month of November, members of the Berlin Borough Police Department will be participating in the worldwide challenge known as No Shave November.

According to the No Shave November website, over the past six years, participants in the yearly challenge during the penultimate month of the year have raised over $3 million dollars to combat cancer.

The mission of the challenge is to raise awareness of men’s health, specifically the battles people are fighting associated with cancer.

Each participating officer will donate money and start growing some facial hair to show support.

Those in the community can donate to help the Berlin Borough Police Department’s fundraising goal of $2,000 here.
