Washington Township Police blotter

Officers were dispatched to Raymond Drive Oct. 3 at 03:58 a.m. for the report of a suspicious female walking in the area of a resident’s backyard. Officer Steve Pinelli and K9 RIP responded to the area and located a female pulling a Honda Pressure washer. It was determined that the power washer was stolen. A Sewell woman was arrested for receiving stolen property and lodged in the Gloucester County Correctional facility. Later in the day, police investigated an attempted burglary at Rita’s Water Ice on Egg Harbor Road. The woman was additionally charged with burglary. Anyone with additional information concerning these two incidents or other associated activity is asked to contact Detective Matt Barnett at (856) 589-0330.
