For Dr. Mark Huh, “passing on the knowledge” is important.
As a 2009 alum of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine (UPenn Dental School), he has “always wanted to give back” to the place he learned so much.
Huh received a certificate of appreciation for his teaching during the 2022-23 academic year at his alma mater.
Huh has been practicing near the school for many years and started his own practice, Rapha Dental, in Cinnaminson (Burlington County) in 2018.
He is ranked as a top general dentist for 2023 and has been consistently selected as Best Dentist in New Jersey from 2018 through this year.
Huh was born in Seoul, South Korea. He attended the University of Washington in Seattle and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry. He then continued his education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He was recognized for outstanding performance in the pre-doctoral endodontic program in 2009.
Following his education, he completed a one-year general practice residency program at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, where he gained more surgical experience.
Huh also attended a one-year MaxiCourse at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, now known as Rutgers University, to further his practice of implantology. He became an associate fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and also a member of the American Dental Association and New Jersey Dental Association.
Huh is currently serving with the Southwest New Jersey Committee of Penn Alumni Interview Program to help the University of Pennsylvania interview applicants for the school.
And he has been working as a clinical assistant professor at UPenn Dental School since 2022.
On his free time, Huh enjoys golfing, gardening, experiencing new restaurants, and watching movies.

Huh is a participating provider of Donated Dental Services (DDS) with New Jersey Dental Association, helping people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically compromised. He has been a dental lifeline network volunteer since 2021.
DDS recognized Huh and his practice for being a participating provider in August.
