Moorestown Theater Company (MTC) will hold auditions for the area premiere of “Mean Girls JR.” at MTC’s Performing Arts Studio at 5 W. Main Street. Students in Grades 1 to 12 can perform in this new musical as follows:
- 7th to 12th grade students can register and audition for lead roles.
- 1st to 6th grade students can register and will perform in the ‘Mathletes Ensemble.’ (These students cannot audition for lead roles.)
- To register for this musical that will be performed from May 17 to 21, students need to visit MoorestownTheaterCompany.org. Questions about this musical, or about MTC in general, can be answered by calling (856) 778-8357.
- This musical will not only be performed in Moorestown in May ’23, but it will also be the show that MTC performs at the national Jr. Theater Festival (JTF) in Atlanta, GA in January ’24.
Audition dates and times are as follows: Monday, March 13, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Wednesday, March 15, 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Friday, March 17, 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 19, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Students need only to attend one audition.
