Haddonfield Outdoor Sculpture Trust announces the newest sculpture in Haddonfield: a lost little hippo who apparently wandered away from the world’s-only Children’s Sculpture Zoo down the street.  The 50” x 15” x 27” bronze hippo is complete with its ready-to-ride seat and is a big hit with kids from Haddonfield and surrounding areas.

As with the other sculptures placed around town by the Haddonfield Outdoor Sculpture Trust (www.HaddonfieldSculpture.org), it is made possible through the generous support of donors including the Sylk family and Scott Boren, owner of The Happy Hippo toy store located on the corner of Kings Highway and Haddon Avenue.

The Haddonfield Outdoor Sculpture Trust (HOST) is a nonprofit public/private outdoor art initiative bringing traditional and contemporary works by noted sculptors to the downtown district, some permanent and some rotating.  Several sculptures have been purchased by residents and donated to the Borough of Haddonfield on a permanent basis.  Many others are on loan or lease from the artist, and are available for purchase for private or public use.  These sculptures constitute an ever-evolving outdoor gallery where they can be enjoyed by all until they find a permanent home.  Photographs and descriptions of all sculptures, information about artists and more can be found at www.HaddonfieldSculpture.org and on www.Facebook.com/HOST08033www.Instagram.com/HOST08033www.Twitter.com/HOST08033 and www.LinkedIn.com/company/HOST08033.  Self-guided tours are free and available 24/7 on the website.
