Superintendent Michael Volpe informed the Moorestown Board of Education this week that he is leaving the district and will accept a position as superintendent in his hometown. The board acknowledges the compelling opportunity presented to Mr. Volpe to work in his hometown and wishes him continued success.
“We are actively working on a plan to move forward and will find the most qualified and devoted school leader for our staff, students and families,” said Mick Weeks, president of the board of education. “The board recognizes the importance of strong, committed leadership in accomplishing district goals and ensuring continued success for all students.”
The board will continue to keep the community informed, and thanks all stakeholders for their continued partnership.
