South Jersey Jewish Culture Alliance holds presentation on History of American Jewish Women’s Activism

The South Jersey Jewish Culture Alliance will be holding a talk by Melissa Klapper on the History of American Jewish Women’s Activism on June 12 at their virtual meeting. (Special to The Sun/The Sun)

On June 12, the South Jersey Jewish Culture Alliance will feature Melissa Klapper, PhD, a professor at Rowan University who teaches American and Women’s History as a guest speaker at their virtual meeting. From 4 to 5:30 p.m., she will speak on the “History of American Jewish Women’s Activism.” 

The South Jersey Jewish Culture Alliance provides Jewish programs and connections for Jewish people in Camden and Burlington Counties. The programs are developed and presented by its members and topics covered include social justice, ethics, Israel, Jewish literature, music, art, movies, antisemitism and other topics that are current and of interest to the Jewish people.

At this time, the alliance continues to meet on Zoom on the second Sunday of the month from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
