Join Gloucester County’s annual Earth Day clean-up

Clean-up locations will be spread across West Deptford, Paulsboro and National Park

The Gloucester County Board of Commissioners and the Gloucester County Improvement Authority will sponsor the countywide Earth Day clean up on Saturday, April 23.

This event is open to non-profits in Gloucester County. Participating groups will receive $500 for their service. Registration is required.

“Every year, our countywide clean up has anywhere from 250 to 400 people who come out to participate. It’s amazing to see how groups can come together to make a difference in the environment,” said Director Frank J. DiMarco.

Director DiMarco serves as the liaison to the Gloucester County Improvement Authority and announces that this year’s host will be West Deptford Township.

Groups will meet at the Riverwinds Community Center at 8 a.m. and receive their clean-up locations. Clean-up locations will be spread across West Deptford, Paulsboro and National Park.

If you are a non-profit organization interested in participating, please fill out the application here: gcianj.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/clean-communities-application.pdf
