County testing sites have seen demand dry up over the last two weeks for COVID-19 testing and based on the lack of patients, the Department of Health will be decommissioning the sites for this current time period. Over the course of a four-hour operation, the sites are seeing individuals in the single digits and based on the lack of need the remaining testing infrastructure in the county will be able to compensate for closings.
As of Monday, Feb. 7, testing will no longer be available on Mondays from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Camden County Complex located at 2600 Mt. Ephraim Avenue in Camden City. In addition, testing will also no longer be available on Thursdays at the same time at the Health Hub. Nevertheless, if demand does increase again like it did over the holidays the Department of Health will be ready to reinitiate the operation of these sites.
