The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 427 new positive cases of COVID-19 which occurred between Tuesday, Nov. 16 and Friday, Nov. 19, bringing the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases in Camden County to 61,499 and 1,345 total fatalities.
Of this week’s 427 new cases, 137 are among patients under 18 years old. The average age of the newly infected has ranged from 30 to 33 years old.

“We’ve seen a steady flow of cases this week,” said Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “The importance of getting vaccinated cannot be undermined. It’s the best way to protect ourselves and others from getting seriously ill, ending up in the hospital or dying. You can make an appointment to get vaccinated or to receive your booster shot if you’re eligible at the Camden County Health Hub by visiting www.CamdenCountyVaccine.com.”
To date, 424,805 Camden County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 318,378 are fully vaccinated and 67,910 have received a third dose. The county Health Department is continuing to closely track new cases of COVID-19 and information regarding the prevalence of the Delta variant. New cases are often reassigned to other municipalities over the course of an investigation.
