The Haddonfield Lions Club Citizen of the Year Committee (COTY) is looking for nominations for what will be the 50th Citizen of the Year in the history of our town.
In the past, the committee has honored government officials, educators, administrators, artists, teachers, medical professionals, business people and hard-working volunteers.
The committee is streamlining the process of nominating Haddonfield residents this year in an effort to get the maximum number of nominees. There are so many worthy, civic-minded people in town.
In your nomination, please include the following information: your name, contact information and the name and email address of the nominee. Please tell the committee about this person’s accomplishments and how those accomplishments have benefitted people in the community. Describe the traits this person has that make them special and that cause them to stand out in what they do and achieve. Please give the committee the educational, professional and volunteer background of your nominee. The committee wants to hear why this individual is a person to be recognized. Nominations should not be longer than two typed pages.
Nominees must be 21 or older and live in Haddonfield. For any additional questions, please email or call Jack Tarditi at: [email protected] or by phone at: (609) 330-0357. Nominations are due Dec. 25.
The Lions hope that this year’s Mayor’s Breakfast on Jan. 22 will be a time to honor an outstanding citizen and listen to our Mayor and Commissioners update us on the State of the Borough.
Breakfast will start at 9 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church on Kings Highway. Lions members will be selling tickets ahead of the event or tickets may also be purchased at the door.
