Morning fire causes resident to be displaced

There were no injuries to emergency personnel or civilians. The resident will be displaced until smoke and  water damage can be remediated.  

Release according to the Gloucester Township Police Department.

On Friday Nov. 5, 2021 at approximately 7:51 a.m., The Gloucester Township Police Department was  dispatched to a house fire on the 800 block of Huntington Avenue, in the Glendora section of Gloucester  Township.

Gloucester Township Police Officers arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the single family unit and  located the lone occupant outside, unharmed. Firefighters from Glendora, Runnemede, Chews Landing,  Bellmawr, Magnolia and Somerdale arrived and extinguished the fire. The fire appears to be non suspicious.

There were no injuries to emergency personnel or civilians. The resident will be displaced until smoke and  water damage can be remediated.

Tomorrow night we will be moving the clocks back one hour and this is a good time to check/change the  batteries on your smoke detectors and alarms.
