Pennsylvania man arrested in robbery at Citizens Bank

Police last week arrested a 47-year-old man suspected of robbing the Citizens Bank branch at 175 Route 70 in Medford on July 22.

The incident took place about 3:53 p.m., and police released Information on the crime to neighboring jurisdictions. The suspect and his vehicle were later observed in Evesham Township.

After a brief encounter with Evesham police on Plymouth Drive, Christian LeBlanc of Norristown, Pennsylvania, was arrested and all money from the robbery recovered. Medford  detectives interviewed LeBlanc, who they said admitted to other bank robberies in Burlington, Camden and Atlantic counties. He was charged in the Citizens Bank case with robbery,making terroristic threats and theft and is being held at the Burlington County Jail pending a court hearing. 

LeBlanc was also wanted by the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office for robbery and had federal warrants for escape and parole violation, police said.
