POLICE: Thefts from cars, vandalism and reported burglary

The following incidents were taken from reports on file with the Haddonfield Police Department.

On May 12, a resident of the 300 block of Avondale Avenue reported a suspicious person entering parked vehicle overnight and stole loose change. The incident occurred sometime on May 11. The vehicle was parked in a driveway overnight.

On May 12, a resident of the unit block of Ridgewood Circle reported an unknown person enter his vehicle overnight and stole a GPS. The vehicle was parked in the driveway all night.

On May 11, an on duty officer reported criminal mischief during a school check at Christ the King. The brick/cinderblock retaining wall by the basketball courts were damaged. The officer reported multiple bricks were broken off and thrown onto the courts and in the parking lot causing them to break.

On May 11, a resident of the 500 block of Grove Street reported a burglary. The caller reported an unknown person entered her residence and stole jewelry from her bedroom. The detective sergeant was notified and responded to and processed the scene.
