Gloucester Township Police investigate a serious motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle

The motorcyclist is currently in critical, but stable condition, and the driver of the vehicle was uninjured.

Release according to the Gloucester Township Police Department.

On Monday, April 4, 2021, at approximately 2:25 p.m., officers from the Gloucester Township Police Department were dispatched to the Black Horse Pike in the area of Landing Road for a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.

The motorcycle was traveling northbound on the Black Horse Pike and sedan turning onto the Black Horse Pike from Landing Road. The motorcyclist, an adult male, was transported to Cooper Hospital, Trauma Unit, for serious injuries to his head and pelvic area. The motorcyclist is currently in critical, but stable condition. The driver of the vehicle remained on location and was uninjured.

The Black Horse Pike was closed between Brewer Avenue and Oak Avenue and for several hours during the initial stages of the investigation. The investigation is being conducted by the Gloucester Township Police Serious Crash Investigation Team (SCIT).
