Gloucester Township switching to new waste disposal company

Central Jersey Waste and Recycling Company will be responsible for the township's waste disposal starting in February

The following is a notification from Gloucester Township:

To provide a better service to the residents of Gloucester Township, starting in February, the township will be switching to a new waste disposal company — Central Jersey Waste and Recycling Company – which will now be responsible for trash removal.

Residents should note that the Gloucester Township Municipal Utility Authority will still be responsible for township recycling.

Residents with a previous trash pickup day of Thursday will now have their trash day moved to Friday starting this February. The recycling pickup date, however, will remain the same. Residents with trash and recycling pickup days on any other days will remain the same.

Questions and concerns can be directed to the Department of Public Works at (856) 228-3144.
