Paul Kinzel died unexpectedly and peacefully at his home in Cherry Hill, on Jan. 9, at the age of 53.

He was the devoted and loving father of Samuel Grayson Kinzel, beloved son of Marilyn (nee Berner) and the late James Kinzel of Connecticut, dear brother of Valerie Ashton and Susan (Joseph) Bonertz, both of Connecticut, as well as uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Paul was a member of Steamfitter’s Local 420 since 1995. He enjoyed working on cars, waterskiing and being on the water with friends.  The Brigantine beach was his home away from home.  Paul’s deepest love and life’s devotion was his son, Sam.

Paul was an outreach advocate for Alcoholics Anonymous, and a source of support for many recovering members. He had an open-door policy and was very generous, providing food and rides for those in need of recovery and support.

Services for Paul will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Paul may be made to the Marine Mammal Stranding Station, 3625 Atlantic Brigantine Blvd., Brigantine, N.J. 08203 (https://www.mmsc.org/ways-to-donate/simple-donation).
