Palmyra Police Department officers may look a little different in November.
The department is taking part in No Shave November. Also known as Movember, No Shave November is an annual event involving the growing of beards and mustaches during the month to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men’s suicide. The event also raises funds which benefit organizations supporting those dealing with these issues.
