Slight uptick in COVID-19 cases in Gloucester County, number remains in the teens

Gloucester County reported 18 new COVID-19 cases on June 5, with seven cases in Washington Twp. alone.

Gloucester County’s number of COVID-19 cases went up slightly for a second straight day on June 5, but the number of new cases remained in the teens for a seventh consecutive day.

Gloucester County reported 18 new COVID-19 cases for June 5. Additionally, no new COVID-19 deaths were reported. The county has reported just three deaths over the last seven days, the fewest over a seven-day span since April 4-10.

Here is a breakdown of today’s new COVID-19 cases by municipality:

  • Clayton – 1
  • Harrison Twp. – 1
  • Logan – 1
  • Monroe Twp. – 2
  • Swedesboro – 3
  • Washington Twp. – 7
  • West Deptford – 2
  • Woodbury – 1
