Gloucester County reports 36 new COVID-19 cases on May 28

County health officials have also reported the death of a 72-year-old West Deptford woman who was ill with COVID-19.

Gloucester County’s May 28 COVID-19 update includes 36 new positive cases in the county as well as the death of a 72-year-old woman from West Deptford who was ill with COVID-19.

The death of the West Deptford resident is the 142nd in Gloucester County since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gloucester County has now recorded 2,183 positive COVID-19 cases. There have been 12,454 total tests conducted, with 10,271 coming back negative. Three cases have been moved out of the county.

  • Clayton – 2
  • Deptford – 7
  • East Greenwich – 1
  • Glassboro – 3
  • Greenwich Twp. – 1
  • Harrison Twp. – 1
  • Mantua – 3
  • Monroe Twp. – 7
  • Newfield – 1
  • Pitman – 1
  • Washington Twp. – 3
  • West Deptford – 4
  • Westville – 1
  • Woodbury – 1
