The Haddonfield Alumni Society is excited to present a new and different kind of event that we hope will remain a tradition of the organization long after the quarantine is over.
In partnership with King’s Road Brewing Company, we will be hosting our first ever (virtual) beer tasting on Friday, May 15 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Attendees will receive three (3) 25.4-oz cans of three different King’s Road beers for tasting. During the virtual tasting, you will sample the three beers and discuss the differences, ingredients, and history of those beers with King’s Road’s Chris Thomas. Once you have purchased your tickets, you will receive a confirmation email from the HAS that will include a link to the video chat that we will be using to host the event, as well as a passcode.
King’s Road has agreed to deliver the three beers to HAS members who live within a 3-to-5 mile radius from the brewery.
Therefore, when purchasing your tickets, please be sure to select the appropriate option: “Pick-up” or “Delivery” depending on which you prefer. Please note: Those who live outside the delivery radius MUST pick up their own beers directly from the brewery.
Deliveries and pick-ups will begin on Wednesday, May 13 — two days before our Friday event. Delieveries will be made to the address you enter into the Eventbrite invitation: (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/haddonfield-alumni-society-virtual-beer-tasting-with-kings-road-brewery-tickets-103296366212)
Pick-ups should be made on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday between the hours of 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. When arriving to collect the beers, please call the brewery at (856) 427-8100, and they will hand them directly to you at curbside.
All questions should be directed to Dave McGonigle, at: [email protected].
