Monroe Township residents no longer need to contact the Department of Public Works to schedule or request bulk trash pickup.
The township recently released a schedule for bulk trash pickup. Residents whose trash is collected on Monday and Thursday will have bulk pickup on the first and third Friday of each month. Residents with Tuesday and Wednesday trash collection will have bulk pickup on the second and fourth Friday of each month.
The following items will not be picked up as bulk trash: Construction or demolition debris, stumps, house move outs or clean outs, concrete and electronic waste. Residents are asked to use good judgment in regard to the amount of items placed curbside for pickup.
